Mantis and Drax were definitely the best 1A 1B duo in the MCU. They're both socially awkward so putting them together allows both of them to ease out of their comfort zones at a relatable pace. It's one of the more relatable aspects of Marvel as a whole and I wonder if James Gunn and Kevin Feige knew it would reach the level of resonance as it did.
